My story

　　Bookie the Wookie, I am a handsome young lad. I didn't have a great start in life. My first owners dumped me down by the river as a young puppy. I lived on scraps thrown to me by the homeless people who lived by the river. I was very scared but some nice people caught me and took me to their home. I saw the vet and got all of my shots and I was neutered (OUCH!) and microchipped. I had a very bad start but I am working on my personal skills. I am very afraid of men and people that I don't know. I love to play, get pets, snacks, and cuddle on the couch. I just want someone who will be my one and only. I'm good with other dogs. I like to chase squirrels, rabbits, and anything that thinks it is too fast for me to catch it. I like to smile when I'm happy to see you and I will wiggle and squirm. I lay down and sleep if I am kept in a crate even if I don't like it. Are you looking for a great hiking buddy? Can you give me the perfect couch to sleep on?
