This is BooBoo and she needs a SERIOUS diet! She is about 8 years old and we think that she is a Pug, Chihuahua mix. She is basically black with a greying muzzle. She has an underbite. She waddles!

　　BooBoo was brought to us as a turn in or to be euthanized. She sat in the front of the vehicle staring forward until the vehicle was approached and at that point, she let the person approaching that they were not welcomed! She was removed from the vehicle with a rabies pole. The chunky monkey was extremely CRANKY! She showed me all of her teeth and every single hair on her body stood up - oh joy!

　　Flash forward and two days later, she is hanging out in my office and I am petting her!

　　BooBoo was won over with tiny amounts of food. We cut back her food intake, gave it a light coating of canned food, and slowly hand fed each piece of kibble to her by hands. She took them from my fingers and licked the residue off of my fingers. I sat in the kennel with her and she was still nervous. I sang to her. Oh yes, I have a melodious voice indeed! She listed to Amazing Grace, Slient Night, Row, Row, Row your Boat, Mary had a Little Lamb, and Glow Little Glow Worm until my melodious voice caused her to pass out. On Thursday, she was sitting at the front of the kennel waiting for me...

　　HELLO!! She ate from my fingers, she went for 2 small walks, and she allowed me to pet her & give her scratches. I even saw her tail wag!!

　　Woot!!

　　BooBoo will need someone who is willing to work with her like I am working with her...
