My story

　　Kind creature looking for her forever family. Bonnie encompasses all that is good in a Redbone. She's mellow, even tempered, has a gorgeous red coat and quintessential pleading hound eyes. She hails from Oklahoma where she found herself in a shelter, scared and alone. Lucky for us Bonnie packed her things and moved to CO! She is now looking for a guardian who doesn’t raise their voice at her, someone who understands the soft heart of a hound dog. She will need time to settle into her new home and time to trust her new human before she lets her walls down. The shelter was no place for a sensitive creature like her. Bonnie is being treated for heartworms – costs are covered 100% by the rescue. She does well with other dogs and older children. She rides well in the car and enjoys low key adventures, you know – Breweries (she doesn’t drink but is okay if you do), Jazz in the Park, and easy saunters around the block.
