　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

　　This sweet little lady is Twilight, a cute medium-haired solid black female cat. She looks an awful lot like a Bombay-mix, with some characteristics and personality traits shining through. Twilight is a "teenager" at approximately 1 year, 3 months old (as of July '13). Twilight is playful! She loves whatever toy she can find! But she's very playful and loves hanging out with our volunteers and any visitors, too. She likes half-closing her eyes in contentment when she lies around near us or in our laps. She loves all the attention she receives with us, so she's hoping someone will come in and give her a life full of cuddles! 　　Negative for FIV and FeLK and current on vaccinations. Twilight is spayed.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors/legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
