　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This very beautiful little lady is Trixie, a solid black short- to medium-haired slightly fuzzy kitten at approximately 5 to 6 months old. We suspect Trixie to be a Bombay mix - she has perfect rounded eyes and an almost perfectly spherical head shape, has a smaller stocky build and shares the same typical Bombay disposition! She has light orange-yellow eyes, and may grow to a normal adult size or stay a little smaller than average (an estimation of app. 6-9 lbs). Trixie is a sweetheart! She does great with other cats, but she absolutely loves getting attention from people! She's sure to be your new sidekick! She can be a social butterfly, but sometimes Trixie likes it quiet and will show her true laid-back, low energy side. She's just waiting to turn into your lazy lap cat! 　　Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
