　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This handsome guy is Ferb, a 10-month-old (as of 8/4/13) solid black "teenage" boy! He has a distinct Bombay look to him, but he would definitely be a mix. His previous owner had the poor little guy declawed, so he cannot go to a home with dogs - he has no line of defense to set boundaries. He has beautiful orange eyes. Ferb is a very playful, funny little guy! He loves toys, and loves socializing with other cats. Visit our adoption center or contact us to meet Ferb!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK and current on vaccinations. Ferb is neutered.

　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of vet costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care, and are not available for adoption until they are cleared by one of our trusted local veterinarians.
