My story
FOSTER HOME NEEDED because Boise has tested heart worm positive. PAHS is willing to pay for his heart worm treatments. Boise would need to be in a foster home while undergoing treatment for about 8 weeks. PAHS will provide everything you need--food, bedding, crate, and medical care. Now for more about Boise, he is a 7-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mix. Special Needs is indicted on his bio because he has tested heart worm positive. This handsome boy is white with black spots; and he currently weighs 50 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized dog. Boise is very frisky and playful. We know he would appreciate life best with an active family who has a fenced yard. Boise is friendly and would be just fine in a home with older children. Since he is a Heeler mix he does tend to 'herd' younger children by nipping at their heels! It's in his DNA! If you have another dog, we would suggest a meet and greet with your dog before you take Boisie home. Please come out and meet this great dog--he can't wait to have a home with a family who loves him. Right now Boise would settle for a wonderful foster home while he is being treated for heart worms.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. September 17, 2022, 7:08 pm
