　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This sweet little girl is Alice, a female gray tabby Bobtail kitten. She's a tiny little girl at only 11 weeks old (as of 5/10/13), which means she still has quite a bit of growing to do! Alice is a gentle and friendly kitten! She'd do well with other friendly cats and kittens. She's very playful and needs lots of attention - she will need a home where she isn't left alone for several hours. She should do great with older kids. 　　Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations.

　　Since Alice is too young to be spayed, we require a refundable spay/neuter deposit, refunded after proof of the surgery is presented to the HSWA (certificate, vet records, etc.). Spaying/neutering after adoption is the responsibility of the adopter by age 6 months, regardless of the spay/neuter deposit, per state law. Visit our adoption process for more information.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
