My story
Bo is a very very intelligent dog. he loves to play with toys, run, sun bathe, and nap. he knows sit, down, wait, stay, drop it, down all the way, break, focus, crate, go lie down, and an emergency recall whistle. he knows three reprimand commands: ahhhh, tch, and no. He sleeps well in the crate at night and does well in the crate during the day. He is very food motivated. He has never had an accident in the house and is unbothered by most other animals (birds and dogs are what he has been around most). he loves playing fetch with toys, belly rubs, and cuddling.
He has a lot of energy because of his high intelligence level, so he really excels at mind games, but because of this, he also likes to wind down and chill. Bo will test his companion to assure himself that everything is under control. He responds very quickly to training and learns new tricks fast. He likes to test people to see if they mean it when they say a command, but with patience, he will build a bond of trust and loyalty and respond quickly.
He does need to work on jumping when meeting new people, but will settle down pretty quickly once he knows you. He gets a little anxious in car rides (does best crated with music playing) and is learning to walk on a leash appropriately. He has a demanding bark, which is easily controlled by turning attention away. He likes to alert you if he sees someone he doesn't know. he would probably do best in a home without small children.
