Blue's story

　　Blue is a 4 year old Great Dane weighing just about 100lbs. Blue was brought to CO in 2018 when he was dumped at a shelter in TX. He was adopted out by a family who had another dog that was very overwhelming for Blue. After about a year the family decided that Blue was not a good fit for them and they tried to have him euthanized. We knew this beautiful boy deserved a great life and a true second chance.

　　Blue has been in our board and train class for program for a few months now and is ready to find his forever home. He still does not do great with all dogs (does good with some) so we have decided to make the transition the easiest for Blue, and to set him up for 100% success, a home without another dog would be best at this time. Blue loves humans and is a very sweet, loving, affectionate big guy. He is very well behaved and everybody who meets him falls in love with him. A home with adults who can continue to support Blue in his confidence building is exactly what he needs. It will be mandatory that he continue our training classes through High Drive Dog Company in Longmont. We have paid for life long support and training for Blue and we require his adopters utilize that.
