Blaze's story
This is Blaze. A beautiful 10 year old yellow Labrador boy with a gorgeous disposition. He is completely vetted but did test positive for heart worms, however healthy and with no clinical signs affecting him. He has been treated at no cost to an adoptive family. He does need to be kept quiet and can only take brisk walks and no running or jumping around for 60 days since treatment and then he will be just fine.
Blaze is a very, very sweet boy. He is extremely well behaved. He gets along well with dogs and people, he has not been tested around cats but he doesn't seem to have any aggression towards squirrels when walking him. He handles dogs that don't necessarily appreciate his presence with grace. He is respectful and gives the dog their space. He is very grateful for love but doesn't demand it. He is very relaxed and easy going. He is a good eater and enjoys being outside. He walks very well on a leash. He is house broken and crate trained, but isn't particularly fond of the crate, but will listen to whatever you ask him to do. He however does prefer to lay on a fluffy dog bed near you and would do best in a home where he is with his human. He rides well in the car. He overall is a very pleasant dog and is a joy to have around :)
Blaze would love a forever home. He is a good boy that deserves his second chance. If you are interested in adoption Blaze please go to our website and complete the online pre-adoption application
