Black Labrador Retriever - Freddie - Large - Young - Male - Dog

　　Hello, I came to the Ark with the name Fred, but the Ark liked Freddie better. A friend of an Ark volunteer found me and asked the Ark to take me. I was born December 2012. I am going to be a year old soon. At my age now I weigh 49 lbs. I am a Labrador mix. My coat is mostly black but I do have some white on my chest. I am a sweet dog. I am active but one of the Ark doggie ladies is really working with me. I am trying very hard to be a well-mannered dog. People should know that it takes time, patience, and kindness to make that happen. I really would like to have a forever home. When you come to the Ark, ask to see Freddie. That's me. Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only.We do require a fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
