My story
This is Bjorn. He's a very handsome boy with frozen ears and such adorable ways. But he's had a life that sort of left him out of the chosen circle so he is cautious and uneasy around strangers and will need a family who will give him time to realize that he too can be one of the 'special' beloved cats.Bjorn came from a home where there were dozens of cats. They were given care and freedom and love by the human. But with so many other cats around, Bjorn didn't get much attention. When he was noticed, he received kind words, as well as food and shelter, but being one of the younger cats to the group, he got lost in the mix. And so he occupied himself outside a lot, hunting, playing with his cat friends. He LOVES to play with his buddies. And then his human died. And Bjorn and all the others were left homeless. Some were picked up and taken to new homes. Some, like Bjorn, were trapped because it was scary to suddenly have strangers show up and start taking your feline family away and your whole life being changed.Bjorn went to a strange place called a foster home. He really really wants to be brave and have a family of his own. He does LOVE to be pet by people he knows and he has even been known to come up to them and ask for pets. But he still lives with the natural caution that he developed as a youngster.Bjorn is probably a year, maybe 2 years, old. And no question that he is a fine looking boy.
The only question is whether there is a loving family out there who will give him a chance, and the time to start walking up to them to get pets and purr his little heart out for love. He absolutely will need a cat buddy to play with, bond with, be his best friend. And a yard where he can go outside and delight in the natural world when the winds are not crazy and the cold does not bite.If you are that family, that most patient and loving family, who could take this sweet boy into your home and life, please call us. He's in Wasilla waiting and hoping.Call
