Billie is ready to find her forever family! Billie was one of the 10 dogs that joined our program after Hurricane Harvey. After waiting to see if anyone was looking for her in Texas, we welcomed her into our program and she made the trip to Los Angeles. Billie is a shy girl, so she went straight to a foster home where she could decompress and start working on building her confidence. Now that her heartworm treatment is complete, the next part of Billies big adventure is here: to find her forever home.
While in her foster home, Billie has learned to love her crate and likes to enjoy a bone or a stuffed toy. She occasionally enjoys redecorating her crate with blankets from around the house--after all, its important to have good crate feng shui! Billie loves her foster family and receiving their massages and treats. She also has enjoyed living with her canine foster brother. Billies latest feat was joining our pack hike. By the end, she decided it was actually fun! Billie is still gaining confidence in her new life, so all she asks is that her future family be patient while showing her all the fun things the world has to offer.
About 2 1/2 years old and 35 pounds, Billie is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
