　　Dewey is a male Bichon Frise mix approximately 1 year of age. He has thick, curly, ivory fur with apricot highlights around his face. His coat is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Dewey has a stocky 12 pound body with shorter legs. He is adorable, compact, and has a heart-melting, sweet personality. Dewey is so gentle and kind. He tries very hard to please his people and will make an outstanding pet and companion. He is great inside the home and is housebroken. Dewey will give little kisses of appreciation for the smallest show of affection and he is an easy keeper. He walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is good at adjusting his pace to the person walking him. He enjoys strolling around the neighborhood meeting new people and other doggies. Dewey stays close to your side at all times. If you are seated he believes he should be snuggled in your lap and he will settle there quickly and peacefully. If you are working in the kitchen or seated at the dining room table, he settles quietly on a rug and sleeps. Dewey is shyly social, quiet and well-mannered. He was brought in stray and very neglected to a high-kill shelter. Dewey has not seen a lot of love or attention in a while and so his personality will likely blossom and become even more endearing over time. Dewey most definitely wants to be loved and will give you a big dose of his puppy dog eyes whenever he can. No one can resist and you are guaranteed to fall in love right away! Dewey is good with other dogs and good with children. He is a sweet, well-rounded young dog with tons of love and potential. He is going to make some family very happy.
