My story

　　Simply, sweet Betty!Are you looking for America's sweetheart? Here I am! I am Betty, a 3 year old, 69 lbs, spayed female Terrier mix. I was named after the iconic Betty White as a picture of the resilience of rescue dogs. You see, I had a family. They left me tied up outside a store and in my panic, I chewed up my leash, bolted and got so badly hit by the car that even IG had to restrict the images of my injuries. By some grace, I landed with TAP who ensured that I got full vet support, and a loving foster home for recovery. And now here I am! Good as new and I feel that ways too! I am fully bathroom trained, and still working on my leash training. I mean, that's gotta take some time now, right? But continue with positive reinforcement and I will be golden!I can assure you that I am the sweetest gal you will meet! I trust quickly and melt away so soon! I love to snuggle and show my affection. I am a fun fetcher and quite like to play! A couple of walks through the day keep me happy and I am happy to lounge about then. I am actually quite mellow who is okay being left alone at home too, for a few hours. Regarding dogs, I need a slow introduction to be totally fine. I havent met kids yet. I am the classic dog who chases cats, so no kitties for me!I would make magic with an amazing family ready for a snuggle-dog! I would do well with another large dog or by myself. My mellowness will keep it easy for you too. If you think we'd be pawfect, we must meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
