My story
Betsy is an 1-year-old female Yellow Lab mix who has already been spayed. She came to PAHS as a stray from a neighborhood in Prattville; and no one reclaimed her. Although we have her as a 'yellow' Lab her color is actually more cream colored. She has the most gorgeous eyes; it looks like she is wearing black eyeliner. Betsy currently weighs 43 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized young dog. She is well behaved, quiet, and laid back. Betsy would be good with children and other dogs. We really should have named her Simone Biles because she is quite athletic. If they ever make scaling a 6 foot fence an Olympic Event then Betsy is your girl! The staff have personally seen her climb a 6 foot fence like a pro so her adopter will need a way to keep Betsy safe other than a 6 foot fence! Betsy is the TOTAL package--beauty, brains, and sweet as sugar. We just love her.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Betsy 34345, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
