My story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply.
Say hello to Beth, a big ole sassy chonk! Beth is a 3-years-young black and white cow patterned Domestic Short Hair mix with a sweet personality. She is declawed on her front paws and loves head scratches, in fact, she loves head scratches so much, she bats out you to keep rubbing. She will need a home to help manage her diet as she is a stocky 17 lbs as last weigh in! Hobbies include bird watching, napping, and receiving and chin rubs. So far, Beth gets along well with everyone she meets, and we have found she is happy to get pets but doesn't prefer to be held for long. She hasn't been tested with dogs or kids, but her previous owners mentioned she didn't like dogs. We think she would be fine with a calm household where everyone is cat-savvy. Beth will likely do well in any home if she gets plenty of attention, has a nice window perch, and plenty of places to take her beloved cat naps!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 20, 2023, 5:48 pm
