My story
Bernie is a young (less than two years), active, social, housebroken female Dalmatian. She loves to be loved. She is a "crawl into your soul" kind of lover and will do almost anything for belly rubs. She loves to snuggle but doesn’t always understand how to do it properly (she will often walk on you to get in your lap). She has had an older brother at home that she loves very much, but she can get very jealous of him, too. Lessons on how to share will be very important. She is incredibly smart. She loves to look out the window and watch everyone outside. She will jump all over you when you walk in the door - another area for serious training. She often uses her paws to push, play, or when she gets nervous. Owner says Bernie has nightmares almost every night where she wakes herself up and starts howling. This only lasts for about 30 seconds and then she’s fine. She is a good dog with a huge heart. Her new family with older kids will be experienced owners who are willing to put in some time and effort training this girl. A strong but kind personality will work best with Bernie.
