Bernie's story

　　Meet Bernie!! Or Baby Bernie as I call him. This handsome fella is a shy guy at heart. He doesnt realize that hes a big boy! Bernie was so scared when he first came in to the shelter, that he didnt want anyone to touch him. After spending some time inside in an office, Bernie has realized that theres not so much to be afraid of, and that people= pets!

　　Bernie looooves attention and pets now, and will run right up to those he knows and wiggle all over the place. Bernie has gone from grumpy growly to a smushy-wushy cuddle bug! Other likes include: showing off sit for a treat, walks, and chew bones! After a walk, Bernie is happy to just chill quietly next to you with his chew bone.

　　Bernie has not had a dog eval yet. A dog intro is required prior to adopting; bring your dog in and we can help make sure everyone gets along. You can visit 2 yr old Bernie at the MCAC West shelter in Phx (2500 S. 27th Ave.). Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Bernie's $25 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license.
