Bernard was turned in to the county shelter as a stray.
It is amazing that a 96-pound St. Bernard mix could go missing and find himself looking for a home.
How does a shaggy, friendly, oversized shadow find himself homeless?
Bernard has a birthdate of February 28, 2013.
He did have a few social interactions with other dogs while at county, but he seemed to prefer being a loner.
Bernard loves human interaction and he willingly approaches everyone for a head rub. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix.
Out-of-state adoptions to surrounding states are possible; however, an in-person introduction with us and our dogs is mandatory. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment.
