This little rascal is five-month-old Bentley! He was left at a shelter when his owner could not provide the veterinary care he needed. Once with us, he received expert care at CSU Veterinary Hospital. Im all better now and good to go home! wiggles this little guy. I gotta wiggly my tushy cuz I dont have a tail! he giggles. Bentley adores, relishes and loves playing with other dogs in his foster home, and then crashing for a good long nap. A playful, puppy-tolerant canine buddy to show him the ropes in his new home would be perfect.
Hes crate trained, house trained and well schooled in the art of melting hearts. His father was a yellow Lab and his mother a standard poodle. He is a tall little guy with a Lab puppy personality!
Puppies, while adorable, are not for everyone.
Think carefully if your lifestyle has room for the extraordinary responsibility of raising a puppy.
Do you truly have time for the daily nurturing and constant supervision required?
Do you mind piddles on your floor, chewing on your things and, before you know it, a teenage puppy with ideas of his own?
The proper handling and socialization of a puppy are critical to their development into a well adjusted adult.
As Bentley grows he will require your steady, kind leadership, commitment to his training and rely on you for his extensive daily exercise needs.
If you would like Bentley, a little dog to be, to consider your application, please tell us why your home would be suitable for a puppy in the comments section of your application.
Bentley will only be placed in a home with:
(1) adults or older children who can treat a dog with kindness and respect and (2) one that clearly has the dedication and substantial time throughout the day to devote to raising a puppy to responsible adulthood.
