My story
Meet Belley!
Belley is a 2-year-old golden retriever surrendered from a life of breeding with her sister, Ella. Belley had a rough start to life, which has led to her to be very shy and fearful. It takes her a bit to warm up to people, but when she does, she loves her humans! She absolutely adores all dogs so a home with other dogs is preferred. Due to Belleys fear, she is considered a flight risk, and a fence is required.
Belley would do best with a family that is home often and can give her the patience she needs to build up her confidence and trust after being failed by humans previously. Belley does not love her crate but is working on crate training. She prefers to sleep in bed at night with her foster dog siblings and humans. She is doing great with potty training, but regression is normal when entering a new home.
Belley is so sweet and easy going. She spends her days napping on the couch or getting the zoomies in the yard with her foster siblings. She loves to play with stuffed animals and bones.
Belley is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. She is being fostered in Deptford, NJ. If you think Belley would be a good fit for your family, please apply at
