Belle's story
Update: Colors is ill, and is temporarily removed from the adoption list. We haven't yet decided whether Belle should be placed without her.
I love I love I love the calico girls. You sang it, didn't you? These beauties are available for adoption to a loving, forever home. They've been through change after change. Their human owner died, and the family surrendered them to the county kill shelter, where they clung tightly to each other. Then one day they were separated, and Belle was moved to another shelter.
She missed her sister, and finally got her wish and was reunited with Colors. We had Belle checked by the vet, vaccinations updated, and teeth cleaned. She's the picture of health!
Together again, these two have both flourished. But change didn't end there. They had to move again from one foster, to another. Belle and Colors need one final move, forever, together, to the perfect home.
Belle is very confident, and while she loves her sister, she loves her people more. She makes total direct eye contact, with love in her eyes, then reaches up to pet her human on the lips and chin. If you lie down, she's right on top of you, resting her head to the side on your chest, kneading and purring her heart's content. Bell has a softer voice than her sister. Both girls are super sweet, super soft, love people, love to rub, head butt, knead, and purr, even want to be in your lap. They're happy to be picked up and kissed. And they are BEAUTIES!
Let us know if you think your home is right for them.
