My story
Belle is an 11-month-old female Black and Tan Coonhound who must be spayed before she is adopted. She was found out in the county and no one reclaimed her. Belle is black with tan markings that include the 'pumpkin seeds' above her keenly expressive eyes. She has long, velvety soft ears; this is a gorgeous hound! Belle is a big, strong girl who weighs 35 pounds but she needs to gain weight. Belle is a sweet girl who gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter. She would be fine with children but due to her energy level we would suggest older children only. Belle is sociable and serenades our kennels with her loud, mournful 'music'. She would keep pace with the most active of families and enjoy life best with an active family. A secure fenced yard and a sturdy leash are must haves for Belle's new family. This is just a great dog who needs a new start on life with an adopter who will appreciate her and her distinct personality. Come meet Belle soon; she will be sure to sing to you! Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. May 10, 2022, 4:31 pm
