Bella was adopted as a young pup, but she's now back with the rescue. Her mom had an aneurysm and could no longer care for sweet Bella, but that's what we're here for - Coastal dogs will always have a home with us, even if it's nine years later! Bella scored a really great foster home, so that's made this big life change a little easier for her to digest. She's got a canine pal and two foster parents that are going above and beyond in helping her to adjust.
When first adopted, this cutie grew up in a home with a cat. The cat passed a few years ago, but she has recently lived with two Pugs and had no issues with them (in fact, she was the submissive one in the bunch).
We don't know what she's mixed with, because she looks like a GSD who was put through a Disney machine and shrunk to fit into the smallest of places, but she's 33 pounds of adorable and will roll over for belly rubs when you first meet. She's responsive, good on a leash, potty trained, and would really love to spend her life with someone who will love her and treat her like a best friend.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
