Bella's story
Check out this beauty! Bella has got those long, luxurious locks that we all dream of having! Eight year old Bella was surrendered to the shelter for being grumpy. Her owner said sometimes she is ok being pet and sometimes she swats and hisses at you. She was concerned about her young grandson in the home. Fair enough- Bella probably isn't a cat for young kids. But "grumpy"? Isn't that just being a CAT lol? The first time we met Bella, she let us pick her up and hold her and graciously accepted pets from us. The second time- she swatted us away. I'm ok with that! Sometimes I wish I could swat people away too lol.
Bella seems to do fine with the other cats in her cat suite. She mostly just chills on her own in one of her cat boxes.
So calling all you dedicated crazy cat ladies and men! Anyone out there like a challenge? Or maybe you want a pet, but don't have a ton of time. Maybe you're cool with letting Bella do her own thing in exchange for the honor of petting her here and there. ;-) Bella is looking for a human that "gets" her and her grumpiness... is that you?!
Visit Bella at the MCAC West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Bella's $25 adoption fee includes spay and 3 in 1 vaccination.
