My story

　　Bella is a 3-and-1/2 year-old female Collie/Catahoula mix who has already been spayed. She came to PAHS as an owner turn in because her owner could no longer take care of her. Bella is brown with gorgeous white markings; and her medium length coat is very soft. She currently weighs 57 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Bella is very sweet and affectionate. She has become very attached to our staff; and Bella would quickly bond with her new family. She is one of the most loving dogs we have ever seen. This adorable dog would be great in a home with children. She is dog selective when it comes to her canine friends; so if you have another dog you would need to schedule a meet and greet with your dog and Bella at the shelter. She is good with cats and great with children! Bella is leash trained and house trained. She is perfect for a family dog and she will quickly adapt to life in her new home. Please come out and meet Bella as soon as possible--she is such an awesome girl! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
