This is a registered QH that would be great for a kid or a beginner. He is 18yrs old and 14.5 maybe 15 (if he is lucky) hands high. I love him but I have run into financial difficulties and need to sell some of my horses. He has been on a dude ranch and I believe has roped. He has what the vet calls a fibrotic myopathy.( Fibrotic Myopathy is thought to be an uncommon acquired, disorder which probably occurs to some degree after any muscle contusion that heals primarily by scar tissue. The whole muscle or part of the muscle is replaced with fibrous connective tissue within the semitendinosus and, occasionally, the quadriceps muscles of the hindleg. When most or all of the traumatised muscle is replaced by fibrous scar tissue that contracts to an inelastic band, it is termed fibrotic myopathy or muscle contracture.) Shoeing and trimming helps him. I can get a statment from a vet stating this horse is ok to ride. I would not reccomend hard riding due to his age, that why I say kids horse. He does everything you ask, he is not afraid of jackets flying by his face, he stands, loads, clips and anything else you want him to do. He does need his fly mask... the flys love his eyes. To GOOD home only. Text or call or
