My story
10/20/21 Beecher was surrendered to the shelter due to the previous owner being unable to care for him. Unfortunately, there was very limited information about Beecher's habits and personality. According to the previous owner, Beecher has lived indoors, is kennel trained and is said to be outgoing, friendly and affectionate. Here at the shelter, Beecher appears most comfortable outside, he shows his true personality when he is most comfortable. Beecher is mostly likely not housebroken and will need to work on his leash manners. Beecher might possible excel at skijoring or he may possibly be a great addition to a rec mushing team with some training. Beecher is an Alaskan Husky and will need LOTS of exercise both mentally and physically DAILY. He is still very young and willing to learn if he is just given the time and patience in his new home. If Beecher sounds like the dog for you, please give the shelter a call to make an appointment to meet him.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt BEECHER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
