My story
This is Beauty. For the past 5 years she has lived under a porch in Talkeetna. Once she had a sister or friend, and once she could be petted by the woman who fed her. But the friend disappeared, and the petting stopped as the woman got older. So Beauty lived her life alone under the porch; her ear tips froze off. But she survived. When the older woman moved away, she called rescue to take Beauty. And here she is.After so much time without love, she is skittish, but when she's in her safe place, she can be pet. She does not particularly want to be pet or to live so close to people, like inside a house. But Beauty is ready for a little more of the comforts. She would love a barn home, or shed or other outbuilding, where she could have a heated bed and daily food and water. And if there was love and caring too, even pets sometimes, that would be wonderful. So Beauty waits for that special person who would love her and appreciate having her around to be a friend and companion and the working cat who helps control the rodent population.Beauty is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and hoping for a loving family and a home of her own. If you would be interested in giving Beauty a good home, please call .
