From the foster family:
Beau is a very special boy . His story is one of thousands of homeless dogs in the U.S. After seeing a video of him on social media , he touched the heart of a very kind lady in Mobile, AL . He reminded her so much of a furbaby that she had lost several years ago . She just got in her car and drove to Houston, Texas to pick him up from the animal shelter without knowing any past history about him . He is a lot bigger and much stronger than she had anticipated. She is also worried that Beau would be too rough with her small dog and may hurt him accidentally. Unfortunately, she is not able to keep him. She is determined to find the perfect home for Beau. He deserves to live out the rest of his life in comfort and love. He will need a strong owner when he goes for walks. He loves to go for rides in the car . He likes to play with stuffed toys . He is crate trained and probably house trained . He knows how to sit and is learning new commands . He must have a 6ft fence because he is very athletic. He can jump very high to reach his toys. He is a champion at playing tug of war! Munching on ice is his favorite treat. He would be best as an only dog until he can be properly introduced to other dogs and evaluated. He needs an owner who has experience with his breed.
This pet has been vetted including spay/neuter and vaccinations.
