Bear's story

　　Bears elderly dad became ill and he didnt get along with the grandchildren so the family felt it best he find a more suitable placement and surrendered him to rescue. Bear gets nervous and can be snappy with new people. He is also a challenge for our groomer so its best that any potential adopter should have a good relationship with their dog groomer. Once Bear is allowed time to know a person and gain trust he is a total love bug. Bear needs a special, adult only home to adopt him.

　　Bear - is a 3 1/2 year old Yorkie mix. He is neutered and has all of his vaccinations and is microchipped. Bear does well with the dogs in our shelter but absolutely loves to be with people too. He loves laps and can he a snuggler.
