My story
07/29/22 This goofy boy is Bear! Bear was surrendered to the shelter for not getting along with the other male dog in the home. BearâÂÂs prior owner stated that he has done well at the dog park in the past but may not enjoy living with other male dogs. We are requiring that he goes to a home without other male dogs to give him his best luck at succeeding! Bear was said to do great with children but may jump up on them at times. He has been known to bark at strangers but once he meets them, he does fine! Bear has been sweet with his animal tenders since arriving at the shelter! He was said to be housebroken (will scratch at the door), crate trained, and to know a few basic commands!! His prior owner stated that he generally minds well and knows how to âÂÂsit, speak, stay, lay down, and roll overâÂÂ. Such a smart boy! We do not know how Bear does with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. If you do plan on introducing him to those types of critters, please make sure to do so in an appropriate manner. Bear did come to the shelter with a small cough, so he was seen by the shelter vet and started on antibiotics which should clear it right up! If you are interested in meeting Bear please give the shelter a call!August 20, 2022, 11:57 pm
