Lizziemae is a very sweet friendly and easy going beagle. LizzieMae is a wonderful family dog and loves to be a couch potato. She loves to relax and take it easy. LizzieMae will curl up by the fire just like a dog in a storybook. She also likes to curl up anywhere her human is sitting. She will make your house a cozy place to be. If you want to see LizzieMae get excited, ask her if she wants to go for a walk. She will romp around happily with her ears flapping. LizzieMae appreciates affection, and she is definitely a "foodie." There isn't a treat she doesn't like, and her person needs to monitor her daily food intake. LizzieMae can catch a treat tossed in the air before it hits the ground! For whatever reason, LizzieMae found herself in a shelter. But she is a wonderful, perfect older dog and is perfectly potty trained. She sits on command. She does not jump on furniture. She barks rarely and only if a stranger approaches. She is friendly with people and other dogs. She loves to walk and hike. She is affectionate and not overly needy. For whatever reason, LizzieMae found herself in a shelter. LizzieMae's adoption fee is $175.00 - she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog. We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog.
