　　Kelley is so much more than a hound dog!

　　This is Kelley, a nine month old female beagle/hound mix. Looks at those beautiful hound ears -- don't you just want to rub them! Kelley has a nice black and tan smooth coat and weighs 30 pounds now and may get a bit bigger, say around 40 pounds. Kelley was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been found as a stray and dropped off. She had been down there over a month and no one came to claim her.

　　Kelley is a very friendly, social, happy dog. She gets excited when meeting new folks and loves to be around the action! Kelley still has some puppy energy so she will need exercising and playing with to use that up. A fenced-in yard will be required for her since she is a hound mix and could pick up a scent and there she goes! We don't think she would make a good apartment dog, she would need more space.

　　Kelley is good with other dogs and should be great with children older than 10 (just because she is still jumpy). We have started her on crate training. She is up to date on her vet care, spayed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Kelley is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Kelley will make a wonderful companion and family pet for some very lucky owners!
