My story
Baya is a gorgeous gray girl from a rural shelter in Uvalde TX where she was code red for euthanasia. Baya was a staff favorite and is reported to be extremely gentle and friendly with everyone she has met. She is a smaller girl at only 40lbs, but will likely be 45-50 when she achieves a healthy weight. She has clearly been underfed and overbred in her short life, and we are committed to ensuring the rest of her life is filled with happiness and family time. Baya would love a family that is willing to play with her and include her in family activities, whether it’s a trip across town or just hanging on the couch watching TV. She is fostered with other dogs, one of which loves to play, and little kids. She was fostered with a cat and did great with it until the other dogs in the home chased her, then Baya thought it was a fun game. It would be best if she wasn't placed with kitties. Her adoption fee includes spay, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation to Idaho. She is in the Boise area but we will direct adopt to surrounding states with an approved application. Please consider giving Baya the happily ever after she deserves. You can apply for free at
