My story

　　My name is Baxter and I am 1.8 years old! I was surrendered to the rescue because my owners could not care for me properly. I have blue tick coloring and weigh about 30 lbs. I am a very loving dog who likes to snuggle and be close to my people. I have some separation anxiety when left alone so it's important I have another dog to play with. Children tend to make me nervous and overwhelmed but I am okay with teenagers. I am great with other dogs but unknown on how I would do with cats.I like to play with toys and often pull my toy bucket out to pick a toy of my choice. I also likes to chew so it's best to give me rope toys or kongs that I can't tear apart!! I love playing with my foster brother, Jameson who is also available for adoption if you want two! We often play tug of war together! I like riding in the car and traveling. I am potty trained and use the doggy door but have not been kenneled. I hope you want to meet me soon!
