Description

  Baxter's story

Baxter was found by our volunteers at a high kill shelter, sharing a kennel with his brother Brock, huddled together in a corner. After a bath and some TLC, Baxter and his brother gained some confidence and started to show their puppy personalities. They are a unique mixture, we are guessing Bassett Hound and Labrador Retriever, but we will never know for sure. Baxter would love a family where he could learn to be safe and loved.

Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
