This stove was built by the Bat Cave Stove Company in Bat Cave North Carolina. The tag reads tested 4/21/1983. The serial number is number 35. It is a Carolina II model. I have pressure-washed, sand-blasted and painted it. All the gold trim has been hand-painted. In addition, all the brass trim has been hand-polished and "swirled". The blower runs great and I installed a new On/Off fan blower rheostat. It also has a thermostat and a separate switch to operate the fan. The stove can be used as free standing or as a fireplace insert. I built the legs that are bolted to the bottom so they can easily be removed if you want it to be an insert. The back is app. 29 inches wide. The front is app. 34 inches wide. It is app. 30 inches deep and 25 inches tall without the legs, (the legs are app. 7.5 inches.) I have installed new door and window gaskets so the doors are a little tight, but will loosen up after it is used. When new, these stoves came with side and top panels for trim when inserting into an existing fireplace. I do not have the panels. I have a stove just like this one I use in my shop. I have the installation and operation safety manual that came with it, and I will make a copy to go with this stove if needed. I have a hoist in my shop that I can use to load the stove for you, or delivery can be arranged (50 mile radius) for a fee. YOU MUST UNLOAD! Please ask questions and look at the photos. This is a really nice, heavy, well-built stove that will provide you many years of service. Thanks for looking!!!
