　　Update July 2012: Meet super sweet ARFan SIRIUS, our house guest for a couple of days. SIRIUS has been spending some time learning basic commands, manners that every young gentleman should exercise, and how to be apart of a family. SIRIUS thrives in a full house setting. He gets along exceptionally well with other dogs (male and female), cats, and young children. He understands what "No" means and listens very well. He is picking up on basic commands in less than a day and has even started sitting without being asked. SIRIUS is a young lad, so he is still perfecting his manners, but he learns fast and wants to show you he can do it. With a little love and patience he will no doubt make a wonderful family very happy. SIRIUS loves to play and cuddle. He would make a wonderful addition to your family.

　　SIRIUS is a male Basset Hound / Labrador Retriever mix and is approximately 1 year old (May 2012). He is a medium size dog and weighed about 39 pounds when he arrived at ARF. SIRIUS was recently rescued from a local shelter after he was found living as a stray. SIRIUS is a wonderful, friendly and smart young dog! He likes tennis balls and loves to play! He gets along great with all dogs and is kennel trained and doggie door trained.
