Basset Hound - Precious - Small - Young - Female - Dog

　　As her name implies, Precious is a cute love bug. She is so happy to be petted and nuzzled. She is about 2 years old and has been a house pet her whole life, but her elderly owner could no longer care for her, so she is in the shelter waiting for her new home. She is generally well behaved, but has not had much practice walking on a leash. But she is eager to please and practicing will be a good opportunity for her to bond with her new family. She loves treats and toys, especially those toys that she can work on until a treat comes out, so she is eager to find that home where she can be perfectly spoiled! She likes people, young and old, and seems to like other dogs as well. She is certainly part Basset Hound, with a touch of Beagle or perhaps Dachshund. She will need a fenced yard. Consider adding something precious to your house with Precious the pooch! Precious is heartworm negative, spayed and up-to-date on routine shots. Adoption fee applies.
