Basset Hound - Juno/bassett X - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Juno is an absolute lap dog (or she thinks she is). Juno is a 4 year old, 35 pound, Basset Hound mix who just wants to be loved and be near people. She?s totally housetrained and gets full access to my house when I?m gone; nothing destructive has ever happened. She is also used to sleeping in her crate and staying there while I am out sometimes. She is potty trained with a doggy door or without (I don?t have one). She can sometimes be aggressive toward other dogs, so a home without other dogs would be ideal. She may get along with an older male dog that doesn't pay too much attention to her. Juno does get along great with my cat. With some supervision in the first couple weeks, she'd probably do well with most cats that are not too afraid of dogs. I think Juno's other half may be Australian Shepherd, so she has plenty of energy. She'd love to have a backyard to run around in and smell things. She absolutely love walks and is doing really well at learning not to pull on the lead! Since I'm in an apartment, I talk her on a 2 mile walk every day. She also does great on 2-3 mile runs as long as the weather is cool. Juno is great at relaxing around the house and also loves sleeping on your feet. She has a super soft, kind of fluffy coat that is such a pleasure to pet! She likes to play with her stuffed animals and is truly a joy to have in my life. She was rescued from PACC for wounds (most likely from getting thrown from a car), kennel cough, and an eye deformity. The wounds have healed, the kennel cough is gone, and thanks to Cold Wet Noses her eye is all fixed and will never bug her again! She is a low maintenance dog who just wants a forever home that will give her love and affection.
