　　Ellie is a 10 month old, 51 lb., female basset/terrier mix. She is brindle with white socks and a white chest. Ellie weighs 51 pounds and is very sweet and playful. She is short and has the classic Basset legs. Ellie has been staying both inside and outside, and so far seems to be house trained. She gets along great with other dogs (ranging from 70 lb. pit mixes to 20 lb. mini schnauzers), but was dominating at first with the youngest bulldog who is much closer to her age. Now they play together with no trouble.

　　Ellie loves to eat and eats quickly, but has not shown any food aggression. She loves people and is always eager for attention. She can be a little shy with new people, but this seems to have improved since we found her. Ellie is up to date on vaccines and is on flea and tick medication and heartworm medication. She occasionally barks at the dog next door, but will stop if we correct her. Ellie has not been exposed to cats or children while living with us, so we are not sure how she would do with either. Ellie would make a wonderful pet for someone with a backyard for her to run around and play in, as she is young and still very full of energy.
