Basset Hound - Dudley - Large - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Hi my name is Dudley, I am a 5 year old basset hound. I love to sleep and follow my foster mom around, I will fall asleep where she is and move when she moves. I also enjoy sunbathing in the grass and going for short walks. I am doggy door trained, potty trained, and I know sit, lay down, shake, and roll over. I am very mellow dog and I am looking for a quiet home. You can trust me to be by myself during the day and I will greet you in true basset fashion when you get home by baying and wiggling in excitement. I love having my belly rubbed and generally any attention you can give me. I get along with my foster siblings but I would do better in a single dog home where I can be the center of attention. I have not been around cats but I would probably just ignore them (too much effort to chase them). I do well with kids but I am better with older kids who won't pull on my ears or hips. I am an adult dog and the vet did say that I have some hip dysplasia but it is easily controlled if my weight is kept in the healthy range and I am not taken on long walks or hikes. I will need to be fed alone because I am very serious about my food, my foster mom feeds me in the laundry room and I relax as soon as I am allowed to eat in peace. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I would love to meet you and show you how much love I have to give!!
