Basset Hound - Denson - Medium - Young - Male - Dog

　　DENSON is a mixture of two wonderful breeds. He has the high energy, Retriever drive and loyalty of a Labrador, with the laid back couch potato, snuggler disposition of the Basset. So his high energy is balanced out with the laziness of just wanting to hang out on the sofa with his favorite person. DENSON loves to go on car rides, what makes it even better for him, is that it's a car ride to the dog park! He likes to make new friends and enjoy his favorite activity of retrieving tennis balls at the park. He's a tennis ball dog, and loves toys! Those short little legs move fast! And he'll leap into the air for an airborne catch. DENSON gets along with dogs of all sizes and dispositions. When riding in the car DENSON has to ride in your lap. What he doesn't realize is that he's a 45 pound dog with a long body. It's not going to all fit in the drivers lap, it's just not possible. DENSON is completely house trained and does wonderful in a house setting. In fact, he likes to be indoors more than anything. He would make a wonderful companion for any family. He does tend to pull on the leash when he's excited though, with the help of the wonderful Easy Walk Harness! He doesn't pull you at all. These harnesses are a blessing and have turned 90% of my pulling dogs into dogs that I enjoy taking walks with. I highly recommend purchasing one if you do to decide to adopt Mr. DENSON. DENSON is an all around wonderful dog, and he's been waiting a long time for his forever family here at the Animal Rescue Foundation. How has he not been adopted yet?
