Basenji - Stella - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　STELLA is a very sweet, friendly and curious dog. She loves people and attention! STELLA is a playful girl and is good with other dogs. She knows how to sit and is kennel and doggie door trained. STELLA and her sister Snickers were adopted together as cute little puppies and for no fault of their own have been returned to ARF after a year and a half with their family. STELLA would be a wonderful companion and is anxious to find her new forever home where she will be loved unconditionally. STELLA appears to be Basenji / Terrier mix and is now approximately 1 year and 8 months old (Oct. 2012). She is a medium size dog and weighs about 36 pounds. STELLA?S Story: Winslet and her seven puppies were recently rescued by an ARF volunteer who found mama on a backcountry road eating road kill in order to survive and feed her puppies. Her four week old puppies were found nearby living in a burned out shed. Although Winslet was in terrible shape when she arrived at ARF she continued to be a loving and caring mother.
