Basenji - Bijoux - Medium - Young - Male - Dog

　　Dear New Family, I have come a long way to meet you! I am not talking about myself driving (now that would be funny!); I am talking about what I have been through up until now... I am not sure why I am not with my last family. All I remember is ending up on a cold floor with a lot of uproar all around me and itching until my skin started to bleed. I just could not stop the itching. Well, thats because I had a horrible case of mange (Demodex, non-contagious) and I found myself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. My friends from M.A.I.N stepped in to rescue me and took me to a place where they stopped the itching and where I met my foster mom. My coat is coming in nicely now (if I do say so myself) and Im ready to put myself out there and find my fur-ever home! My foster mom and I have gotten to know one another really well! She knows I like treats and stuffed animals. I know how to use the doggie door and I do not mark on anything; she really likes that part! I am good with dogs my size or bigger; the smaller ones I like to play with a lot, just more than they do some times. I like kids too but would probably do best in a home with children ages junior high and up due to my activity level. I do not bark at all. I may whine, but that is who I am. I am a laid back kind of guy. I love to be close to you when we are sitting or sleeping. It feels really good. Interested? Set up a meet and greet with me today!
