My story

　　I'm looking for my best bud for life! Is that you? My name is Barney. I'm a handsome gentleman and I have floppy ears that bounce when I run. I was found as a stray along the side of an empty road before I was brought into HCH. I am so happy I was found because now I have so many friends and I can find my forever home. I love people, going on walks and adventures - I went to the lake recently! I am potty trained, great in the car, very social and sweet.

　　Here's a note from my foster: Barney is such a good boy who loves people! He's a big cuddler and is just happy to be around his people, no matter what they are doing. He LOVES swimming and playing fetch at the lake. He would love an active home that goes out on adventures or hikes a lot! I can tell that he is a very smart dog and has potential to learn new things with a little patience and love from his new owners!

　　My adoption fee is waived with a donation! Stop in to High Country Humane any day of the week between 11am-5pm to meet me! Oh, and I'm told you may want to know these things: I'm fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I also need to go home with a leash and collar. If you don't bring your own, you can easily buy them onsite for $5 each!
