My story

　　Barney is an absolute darling dog! He is obsessed with human affection. He has the biggest smile to match his huge head…and huge heart!!

　　Barney has some stranger danger, but with the proper introduction, he just falls in LOVE. Follows his human everywhere, drops for belly rubs, and loves to lay his head on your lap for face scratches! ? He is truly ADORABLE!

　　Upon rescue, Barney had to have his leg amputated. It absolutely does not stop him! He gets tired a bit easier but …you should see that guy sprint for his wet food or for a hug when his human comes home! Ever seen a tri-pod have the case of the zoomies?!

　　Barney currently lives with cats and is great with them! Barney is very interested in doga, but he does bark at them initially, as he does w strangers. It’s clear he wasn’t socialized with dogs in his “past life”, however, with some work and training we think he could do well. He definitely tries to be alpha- so he may not work with another alpha dog.

　　Sweet Barney needs a strong leader! His alpha behavior and stranger danger shows us he was either neglected or abused - it is very much fear-based, and he has zero aggression.
